Palmdale adopted the nom de rock of Kay Hanley + Linus of Hollywood, as a new song writing venture began in the summer of 2009. Kay Hanley is the former lead singer of Boston alt-pop band Letters To Cleo. Since the band split in 2000, Kay has released three solo albums and has uploaded the songs and sing for many projects Film + TVincluding + The Pussycats Josie. Multi-instrumentalist, Linus of Hollywood has an eclectic resume that began as the man in front of the most influential pop punk band size 14. Since then, Linus released five solo albums, started two labels (Franklin Castle Records and shit) and a career as a producer and composer, working with a roster of other artists (Bowling For Soup, Puff Daddy, Charlatans UK and Cheap Trick for for name a few). the longtime fans of anothers work, Kay was Linus +Trusts are active participants in Los Angeles thriving music community and decided to join forces. Originally, their cooperation should pop songs that other artists would record production, but this idea was discarded in a hurry if the music on a constant depth and get started. They held the material for themselves and changed their focus on writing. They took the songs in the Fall / Winter 2009 as Palmdale.
