Boston is one of the most historic cities in the country and home to the first North American College, Harvard, the original Dunkin 'Donuts, Cheers, the Boston Tea Party, the Red Sox and, of course, Paul Revere. But what I do not know, perhaps, is that Boston is one of the hottest U.S. cities. Let me take you on a tour of my old neighborhood.
The place of residence
Boston has some beautiful, culturally and historically considered even more chic> Hotel. I ask you to enter a visit to this the very soul of colonial style and the Jeffersonian is Boston.
My advice: XV Beacon
This is (and probably always will be) my favorite place in Boston. Superior and amenities, historic and modern furnishings are obviously the best in town. XV Beacon Back Bay location, one block from Boston Commons and a short walk to the famous shopping street, Newbury Street definitelyholding me back. It may be new blood in a city hotel, but nothing compared to the XV!
Another good choice: The Liberty Hotel
The talk of the town is the Hotel Liberty. According to an old prison, which was built in 1851, the Liberty Hotel has been transformed into a hot spot of the new hotel. The hotel is definitely playing on his history with the jail Alibi Restaurant and Lounge. FYI: The first bar of its kind in the country, La Grande Lady Bar offers a selection of the best champagne by-the-glass of Veuve Clicquot.
Best Companies
Newbury Street
Newbury Street began in 1970 as a fashionable shopping street, a bit 'as SoHo. Now the 8 blocks some of the most prestigious stores as Chanel and Ralph Lauren offers on the side of low-cost fashion stores like H & M. However, Newbury Street is still tons of one of a kind boutiques.
My favorites:
Best High End: Louis> Boston
Cool Show: The Closet
Fashions Easy: Calypso
The tourist trap, which can not be left out
Top of the Hub: Enjoy the sunset on the best tourist traps in Boston, because a clear day you can see up to 100 km away. 'This bird's Eye View of Boston from the Prudential Center includes Hancock Tower, Boston Commons, Fenway Park and beyond. Skip the Skywalk and dinner, just order a drink and an appetizer at the restaurant and enjoythe view.
